HomeDock OS Selected for INCIBE Emprende Startup Program

We’re thrilled to announce that Banshee Technologies has been selected as one of just 10 startups to join the prestigious INCIBE Emprende acceleration program, coordinated by CEEI Valencia (European Centre for Business and Innovation of Valencia) and INCIBE (Spain’s National Cybersecurity Institute).

This recognition validates our commitment to building HomeDock OS as a secure, innovative cloud-based operating system that puts cybersecurity at the core of our self-hosted infrastructure.

A Strategic Program for Cybersecurity Innovation

The INCIBE Emprende acceleration program launched in Valencia on October 27th, 2025, bringing together 10 innovative startups committed to cybersecurity across various sectors including biomedical technology, data storage, agricultural analytics, sports tech, and renewable energy.

As Ramón Ferrandis, CEO of CEEI Valencia, stated during the kickoff: “This program is a real opportunity for startups to consolidate their business model in an increasingly digitalized and vulnerable environment. Our goal is for them to grow solidly, integrating cybersecurity as a differentiating value from the start.”

Six Months of Intensive Growth

The program runs through April 2026 and includes:

90 hours of expert-led training with industry specialists, 45 hours of personalized mentoring tailored to each startup’s needs, 45 hours of legal and tax advisory services, 15 hours of digital marketing consulting. And also access to a Demo Day with a €5,000 prize for the winning startup and networking opportunities within the entrepreneurial and investor ecosystem.

Working with Top-Tier Mentors

CEEI Valencia has assembled an exceptional team of mentors from the entrepreneurial and investment ecosystem, including recognized advisors and professionals with strategic roles in successful startups. We’re particularly excited to work with Enrique Montolio, our assigned mentor, whose expertise will be invaluable as we scale HomeDock OS.

The mentor team includes Marcos Garcia, Llum Pinter, Carlos de Otto, Quique Vicedo, Paloma Mas, María Tatay, and Fran Conejos, among others, all bringing proven track records in their respective fields. It’s amazing and we’re really excited to start working with them.

At Banshee, we’ve built HomeDock OS to transform any computer into a secure personal private cloud, regardless of whether it’s running on Windows, macOS, Linux, or our own managed cloud infrastructure (which includes valid HTTPS certificates, easy and fast backups and restore points, plus 24/7 service uptime).

While some competitors focus on criticizing subscription models to control the narrative while discontinuing their own open alternatives or adding paywalls, we’ve been innovating relentlessly for just 6 months and have already validated the project, with an stunning community response. Our goal is crystal clear, provide users with total control over their data and infrastructure while guaranteeing security and interoperability. In an increasingly connected world, cybersecurity isn’t optional, it’s the foundation everything else is built upon.

Backed by European Funding

This INCIBE Emprende program is part of Spain’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), funded by the Next Generation EU initiative. It reflects a strategic commitment to strengthening cybersecurity capabilities across citizens, SMEs, and professionals while driving the cybersecurity ecosystem forward.

INCIBE has been fostering cybersecurity entrepreneurship for over 7 years, building an Alumni network that includes some of the most relevant national and international cybersecurity startups.
