We’re back from VDS 2025, and what an incredible experience it was!

Returning to one of Europe’s largest tech events felt like coming home, but this time with much more than just a stand, we came prepared to make the connections that will take HomeDock OS to the next level.

We’re used to developing at light-speed and shipping features that others may take months to build, but we aren’t used to making quality connections this fast! The energy at VDS 2025 was different, more focused, more purposeful, and the conversations reflected that intensity.

Pitching with Confidence

This year we delivered our pitch in perfect English, and the response was outstanding. Our message was crystal clear: HomeDock OS is revolutionizing self-hosting and cloud computing, and the audience immediately grasped the vision and potential we’re bringing to market.

Showcasing our full desktop experience with the Prism Window Manager opened doors to entirely new audiences and market segments. The reactions were priceless, attendees kept asking “how is this even possible?”… One phrase we heard repeatedly throughout the event was “It feels like magic”. Sight… It’s not, it’s a dream team.

Connecting with Venture Capital

The real highlight of VDS 2025 was the quality of conversations we had with venture capital investors who are genuinely interested in what we’re building. We spoke with several VCs who immediately understood the potential of HomeDock OS and showed real interest in exploring investment opportunities. These weren’t just “let’s stay in touch” conversations, these were deep dives into our vision, our roadmap, and how we plan to scale. A completely different scenario regarding this past year when not even the MVP was available yet. We remember the sketches about how we would port the vanilla js and css prototype to Vue3 and TypeScript. Damn… We’re REALLY FAST.

With over 12,000 attendees from 120+ countries, VDS 2025 once again proved why it’s a must-attend event for anyone serious about tech innovation. We connected with investors managing over €300 billion in assets, fellow entrepreneurs pushing boundaries in their respective fields, and tech professionals who share our passion for democratizing cloud infrastructure.
